jeffery dahmer

Jeffery Dahmer on May 21, 1960 Milwaukee, Wisconsin and went on to become one of the most notorious serial killers of modern times.

Jeffery Dahmer killed from the first time at the age of 18 when he picked up a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks and invited him back to his place. Jeffery Dahmer then killed him and later gave the reason for the killing to be that he didn't want Hicks to leave.

Throughout the 1980's Jeffery Dahmer started to get into troubles over instances of inappropriate sexual behavior. In 1982 Jeffery Dahmer spent 10 months in jail when he was seen masturbating in public by two boys. Then in 1988, Jeffery Dahmer was again arrested. This time he was charged with sexually fondling a 13 year-old boy and was forced to register himself as a sex offender. He talked the judge into deciding he needed psychological help more than jail and Jeffery Dahmer was and released 5 year probation on good behavior.

Jeffery Dahmer hadn't been out on probation for long when he began to commit the series of murders that would make him infamous. Jeffery Dahmer would lure his victims, usually African American males, back to his apartment where he would then kill them.

Jeffery Dahmer's infamy largely comes from what he did with the bodies of his victims after he had killed them. He would put some of their bodies in vats of acid, ate parts of some of his victims bodies, kept some of their heads in the refrigerator and engaged in necrophilia.

The first - rather large - hint of Jeffery Dahmer's activities came when a 14 year old boy called Konerak Sinthasomphone escaped from Dahmer's home on May 27, 1991. When the police discovered him on the street he was naked, bleeding from his anus and had hole drilled in the back of his head. Yet, amazingly when the boy was returned to Jeffery Dahmer's house where Dahmer told them the boy was his 19 year-old lover and they had been having a fight. Konerak didn't want to return to Dahmer but the police left him there. By the end of that night Jeffery Dahmer had killed and dismembered Konerak Sinthasomphone. He kept the boy's skull. Interestingly, Konerak Sinthasomphone was the younger brother of the boy Dahmer was convicted of molesting in 1988.

The end of the crime spree came when on July 22, 1991, another one of Dahmer's potential victims, Tracy Edwards, escaped (with one hand in a handcuff) and flagged down a police car. He took the police back to Jeffery Dahmer's apartment and they undertook a search of his apartment. They were shocked by what they found. Multiple photographs of murdered victims and human remains including three severed heads were found in the apartment along with more human remains - particularly a collection of remains in Jeffery Dahmer's refrigerator.

Jeffery Dahmer's trial began in July 1992 and he made a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. This plea was rejected and Jeffery Dahmer was convicted of 15 counts of murder and sentenced to 15 life terms totaling 943 years in prison.

On November 28th, 1994,while serving his time at Columbia Correctional Institute in Portage, Wisconsin, Jeffery Dahmer was attacked and beaten to death by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver.
